What to Expect When You Apply to CDP
At CDP, we don’t look for expensive certifications or specific degrees, and university pedigree will not get you hired. More than anything, we value a can-do attitude and willingness to learn. Be a student, as we say around here.
We’re really looking for the type of people we’d be glad to have over for dinner, because they’re friendly, make intelligent conversation, and help clear the table.
We appreciate that a piece of paper with past accomplishments can’t convey the real you or what you have to offer in the future.
When considering candidates to join our family, we do our best to holistically evaluate the people behind the paper. In other words, successful CDPeeps' social media profiles authentically represent their interests, values, and interpersonal styles.
Our initial phone screen is a casual conversation aimed at assessing our mutual fit, just five or so questions to qualify you for an interview or a possible referral within our network.
CDP’s onsite interview challenges the status quo. It’s not a gruelling set of trick questions that makes you feel unsure of yourself. We want to see people at their best.
We don’t even have a copy of your resume when you meet with us. We simply ask, “Tell us about the journey of your life so far,” and go from there. It can take anywhere from thirty minutes to two hours.
