In 1991, we started Doshi Associates, an architectural engineering firm in Michigan. At its peak, it did $5M a year.

In 2022, our family decided to retire. He offered the company to the team that helped build it—no takers. He tried to sell—buyers all said the same thing: "He is the business."

The approaches that saved clients millions lived in his head. Not documented. Not repeatable. Not sellable.

In 2023, I sat beside him and shut off the website and the phones. I'd helped start that business. Turning it off felt like cutting a line to our family's story.

That day I told myself: No owner should feel their life's work has no value because of something simple like having systems. Nothing complicated or fancy—just clear, documented, repeatable systems.

That vow is our mission. Owners shouldn't spend their best years building something that dies when they stop showing up. Buyers don't buy hustle; buyers buy systems.

We've spent decades building those systems in high-stakes environments—banks, state agencies, universities, Fortune 500s—and we run the same playbook in our own HVAC company in Florida.

Today, we serve home-service owners only because this is where systems turn sweat into sellable value.
